Aki is a sweet Labrador Retriever mix. She is a 6 year old spayed female with a fun personality! Aki came to us when her owner could no longer take care of her and now we are trying to find that perfect home! This girl loves to play with toys and walks well on a leash. She would prefer a cat-less home but should do well with kids and certain dogs. Aki is hypothyroid which means she will need medications for the rest of her life but that doesn't get her down! “There is no word quit. Failure is not in my dictionary.”  There are so many reasons we love our hometown hero, Lindsey Vonn, but this may be the main reason. One of our own is taking home a medal from PyeongChang and is hopefully taking home another tonight. Heros and Horses helps vets

Heroes and Horses is one of the most intense programs of its kind. The program is designed to create challenge by combing 40 days of intense riding on recently adopted wild mustangs in some of the most unforgiving mountains in Montana.
