“There is no word quit. Failure is not in my dictionary.” There are so many reasons we love our hometown hero, Lindsey Vonn, but this may be the main reason. One of our own is taking home a medal from PyeongChang and is hopefully taking home another tonight. Lindsey Vonn became the oldest woman to win an Olympic alpine medal getting the bronze in downhill skiing which will likely be her last Olympic go at this event.

Aki is a sweet Labrador Retriever mix. She is a 6 year old spayed female with a fun personality! Aki came to us when her owner could no longer take care of her and now we are trying to find that perfect home! This girl loves to play with toys and walks well on a leash. She would prefer a cat-less home but should do well with kids and certain dogs. Aki is hypothyroid which means she will need medications for the rest of her life but that doesn't get her down! Fancher said she expects businesses will start coming forward in the coming weeks to inquire about the fire station, which is located at 351 Benchmark Road. The space can accommodate up to 12 individuals in its eight bedrooms and four bathrooms.
"If it were an Avon business, I think a hotel or even City Market would find it useful," Fancher said. "But it can be any business in the valley who wants it."

Get ready for Halloween fun! The Trick or Treat Trot is a great opportunity for young kids (infants up to 10-year-olds, plus their families) to trick-or-treat through the streets of Vail from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Starting at welcome booths in both Vail Village and Lionshead, costumed trick-or-treaters will be greeted and given free balloons.
