Celebrate the Fourth of July in Vail by attending the biggest celebration of Summer at the annual Vail America Days. This year’s theme is the Great Outdoors and it promises to be a fun filled day sure to entertain everyone in the family and showcase the best of Vail.


The Vail America Days parade is not to be missed. It is one of the largest parades in Colorado and begins at 10am starting at Golden Peak on Vail Valley Drive and end on Lionshead. The parade will last approximately two hours and have and colorful floats, food vendors, and live music sure to make everyone want to get up dance. In keeping with the theme this year of the Great Outdoors the floats and parade is focusing on new environmental ways to be creative by limiting distribution of paper, plastic and motorized transportation.



After the parade the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater will have a concert with patriotic music. For Blue Grass fans head over to Vail Square at the Arrabelle. At Golden Peak the sky will light up with fireworks synchronized to music. Fireworks will begin at approximately 9:30pm and the fireworks show is family friendly.
