On October 13, 2018 Coldwell Banker Distinctive Angels participated in the Homes for Dogs Project and helped connect loving pets with loving homes over the national pet adoption weekend.
This year, Coldwell Banker Distinctive Properties (CBDP) proudly participated in the project with 7 of their offices, in three states, hosting events and/or donating to their local shelters! In Colorado, CBDP Steamboat Springs teamed up with local shelter, Routt County Humane Society, and local pet supply store, Paws ‘N Claws, where they raised over $400.00 in donations for the humane society. CBDP Montrose and CBDP Telluride worked with Second Chance Humane Society and the Montrose Animal Shelter where they successfully found homes for 2 dogs, and have 3 pending adoptions! CBDP Vail partnered with Eagle County Animal Services and were able to find homes for 3 dogs, and have 2 pending adoptions. CBDP Grand Junction collected monetary donations and ‘wish list’ items and donated them to their local shelters, Roice-Hurst Humane Society and Grand River Animal Shelter. In Montana, CBDP Bozeman collected and donated over $250.00 worth of items to their local shelter, Heart of the Valley Animal Shelter and also helped one of the shelter pups find a forever home. In Idaho, CBDP Sun Valley worked with Mountain Humane Society to raise awareness for shelter pets in their community.
The agents and staff members at CBDP volunteered a combined total of nearly 180 hours working towards the success of the events! As locals who care for locals, CBDP is honored to have the unique opportunity to partner with local community associations and nonprofits to give back through the structured efforts of volunteer hours, donations, money and materials where needed. Our commitment to touch as many lives as possible and help make a difference in our own neighborhoods is all just a part of our ongoing dedication and testament that Coldwell Banker Distinctive Angels care!
